Season subscriptions and individual tickets are on sale now for the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra’s upcoming season. It has been a tough year for the orchestra without indoor concerts, and they “can’t wait” to get back on the Kauffman Performing Arts Center stage.
The season begins with the much-anticipated October 8th performance of “Bird Lives”. Featuring the music of Charlie Parker with Strings and the mastery of alto saxophonists Jaleel Shaw, David Valdez, and Bobby Watson.
Other shows will include “Hallelujah Holidays” on December 7th and two spring shows, “Just the Two of Us” on March 12th and “Roaring KC” on May 14th.
