The JCCC Jazz Series for Spring is recorded and set to open virtually in March. Once again you’ll find your favorite Kansas City area musicians and maybe a few who are new to you. Watch for the Roger Wilder Quintet, for long-time favorites Charles Williams and that Basie Band guitarist Will Matthews. Or the Bryan Hicks/Rod Fleeman Duo taking you back a century to the roots of jazz.
And there will be more.
Recitals continue to take place in the Midwest Trust Center (formerly Carlsen Center) at Johnson County Community College. The center was renamed in January 2021 as a result of a donation from Brad and Libby Bergman, long-time supporters of JCCC.
