
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Johnson County Community College (JCCC) Jazz Series kicks off Tuesday, Sep. 7 at noon in the 400-seat Polsky Theatre inside the Midwest Trust Center. The series begins with a Charlie Parker Celebration led by Gerald Spaits and the Charles Perkins Quartet.
This free weekly series showcases some of Kansas City’s most extraordinary jazz musicians. Six of the eight concerts will take place in Polsky Theatre. The other two performances will be held in Yardley Hall.
