Last Chance to Nominate Your Favorite Jazz Musician

The 2022 KC Jazz Ambassadors JAM Musician Awards will be handed out on Tue, December 13 at the KC Jazz Ambassadors’ annual meeting.

Until then, KC jazz fans are invited to nominate their favorite sax, trumpet, keyboard and trombone players and a whole host of other categories. Nominees will be announced October 1, 2022.

“These awards recognize jazz lovers’ favorite musicians,” explained Jazz Ambassador president Mark Edelman. “It’s a chance for everyone to recognize the dedication these performing artists put into their profession, day in and day out.”

Last year’s winners included Bobby Watson, Eboni Fondren, Charles Williams and the Blue Room. Once again, nominations will be accepted In sixteen different categories.
