American Jazz Museum’s Second Annual In the Yard Celebration
is a two-day series of events including an awards dinner, film screenings, family-friendly outdoor activities and a Saturday evening outdoor concert. Spanning across Charlie “Yardbird” Parker’s spotlight birthday weekend, this is an extra special year, as September marks the 25th Anniversary since the grand opening of the American Jazz Museum at 18th and Vine.
Join us In the Yard this year! Become a sponsor and access the most up-close VIP experiences the weekend has to offer. 25th Anniversary donors will be celebrated with special name recognition until April 30, 2023 in all event programs, digital screens, museum atrium and Blue Room donor honor roll, website, and our 2022 annual report. Those who contribute $2,500 or more will have their name installed on the Sound & Story 25th Anniversary exhibit donor wall, running from September 2022 - April 2023.
For nearly 25 years, the American Jazz Museum has opened its doors to hundreds of thousands of visitors, championing the impact that jazz has on our everyday lives and the enduring possibility to learn more about ourselves and each other through each artifact, program, and performance.
It wouldn’t have been possible without you, and with your continued support, we will keep expanding the legacy of jazz and sharing this great honor with even more generations to come.
